Riga Stradiņš University places a great deal of emphasis on applicants providing proof of their English language skills. Therefore, you must submit this with your application. For German applicants, the grades on the Abitur certificate may be sufficient if they are at or above the admission threshold.

Recognised language qualifications

• Cambridge First/Advanced/Proficiency
• IELTS
• Pearson PTE General
• ESOL English B2 Test
• Duolingo
• Valid March 2025

All English language certificates must achieve a certain score to meet the university's requirements.

There is also no longer an RSU internal language test to check the English level of applicants.
