ABOUT RĪGA STRADIŅŠ UNIVERSITY 

 

Almost 1,000 students from Germany are currently studying medicine and dentistry in the capital of Latvia and at RSU Riga. The popularity of RSU in the last two years is also reflected in the global university rankings. The university has now moved up in both the QS World University Ranking and the prestigious Times Higher Education Ranking (501-600).
Over the past ten years, the university has seen massive investment. Some examples of this are the training facilities and simulation rooms in the Faculty of Dental Medicine, the Medical Education Technology Centre and, last but not least, the completely modernised Theatrum Anatomicum. More than 600 students from over 70 countries enrol each year in the international, English-language programmes in human and dental medicine. Nevertheless, the study concept focuses on learning in comparatively small study groups with 10 to a maximum of 15 students.
